Duncan Joybottom's Journal

Entry #1

Duncan the great

The Dwarven bard

So small he’s adored

Yet he hits rather hard

While others lay sleeping

Safe in their bed

Duncan the great

Just rose from the dead

-

Asked to rescue this world

He must now find his friends

If he can’t do it soon

They’ll no doubt meet their ends

-

But Duncan’s not scared

No pant in his breath

No Duncan the great?

He just conquered death

-

Duncan the great

The Dwarven bard

So small he’s adored

Yet he hits rather hard

While others lay sleeping

Safe in their bed

Duncan the great

Just rose from the dead

-

Now alone on these roads

He rides without fears

He’s only been dead

For 17 years

-

He’s brought back for purpose

There’s surely a need

For this handsome young bard

And his trustworthy steed

-

Duncan the great

The Dwarven bard

So small he’s adored

Yet he hits rather hard

While others lay sleeping

Safe in their bed

Duncan the great

Just rose from the dead

-

Saving these lands

Is surely his fate

His own selfish needs

For now they must wait

-

But father be ready

I promise someday

To get my revenge

And take down The Stray

-

Duncan the great

The Dwarven bard

So small he’s adored

Yet he hits rather hard

While others lay sleeping

Safe in their bed

Duncan the great

Just rose from the dead
